This year on February 11th, we get to celebrate our first official holiday dedicated to families – B.C. Family Day. As you may know, B.C. is an incredible place to live and having a special day for families to spend together is great. It can also be a great chance to explore some of the fun activities B.C. has to offer.
Celebrate B.C. Family Day in Vancouver
Check out the activities and concerts at Vancouver Art Gallery on B.C. Family Day. There will be street entertainment, face painting, a hockey shoot out, local artists and more. There are also some educational activities from Science World, Britannia Mining Museum, and the Royal B.C. Museum. Free ice skate rentals and skating will be provided to add on more fun to your special day at the Robson Square Ice Rink (below Robson Street).
Location: The Georgia Street (North) Plaza, Vancouver Art Gallery at Howe and GeorgiaGeorgia and Howe
Time: Monday, February 11th 11:00am – 7:00pm
Note: Howe Street will be closed from Georgia St. to Robson St. and to expect traffic diversions. Public transit is highly recommended to attend the event. There is also underground parking available nearby at Pacific Center.
